bullet   This scientific application is a VC++ analysis and graphic display tool for the ophthalmic lens industry to use for optical curve analysis. With this program, the optician can determine the curvature characteristics of spheric, aspheric, toric, and line free bifocal progressive lens surfaces from 3 dimensional X,Y,Z point files. Graphical representation of optical power and surface cylinder /astigmatism bands are provided with various resolution modes. Measurements of 4 and 6 millimeter regions anywhere within the surface contour as well as Rx frame positioning is easily accomplished.
